Village Designs have recently renovated a beautiful 1950s Pilot Showman’s Caravan, originally made in Shropshire.
Use it as your festival site office, performer’s green room, boutique accommodation, hospitality suite, writer's space or delightful backdrop to your wedding.
The caravan was restored in our workshop, retaining many of the original features, including wood panelling in the sitting room.
The Pilot can be hired with a variety of layouts. It has ample seating and storage, a variety of vintage furniture, 240v electrics, lighting and decor. The fully functioning kitchen includes a gas hob, baby Belfast sink, fridge and attractive kitchenware.
Add one of our canvas canopies to extend the outside space.
MEASUREMENTS
Externally: 2.5m high, 2.3m wide and 7.5m long, including tow bar
Internally: 2.1m high, 2.2m wide and 6.5m long.
HISTORY
The coachbuilt Pilot Panther was completed in June 1958. The following month it was bought by the touring circus troupe, Duo Russmar. They travelled with it internationally until the mid 1970s. The caravan was then kept in dry storage until Village Designs acquired it in 2013.
